President's Special Award

After having bestowed the High Patronage of the President of the Republic of Italy on the GJC, President Giorgio Napolitano [1] has now presented these three medals. At each event, this is an eagerly awaited recognition, as nearly one third of all Global Junior Challenge [2]projects are presented by Italian schools. The winners will receive the award directly from President Napolitano at the Quirinale [3], the Italian presidential palace.

During the last edition, the following projects received this special award:

I’m at Home, but I’m at School - Participating via Webcam [4], Rome
On-line Didactics for a Sustainable Planet [5], Terni
New Technologies, Ancient Values: Radio K2 [6], Verbania
