Final Event

The final event of the "Global Junior Challenge. Tullio De Mauro Prize for the school that Innovates and Includes" consists of many significant moments:

The opening conference of the GJC: an important international conference to discuss the creative use of technology, to innovate among school desks and to encourage inclusion.

The conference of the eighth edition, entitled "School according to De Mauro", was attended by women and men who in different sectors crossed their work with the thoughts of the scholar, an expert in school and education. The interventions were accompanied by LIS interpreting and graphic recording. It is possible to download the conference booklet in the epub format.

Inauguration of the GJC exhibition area: the exhibition of the finalist projects is a very important moment and includes a large space dedicated to the projects selected by the jury (finalist projects). In seven editions of the international Global Junior Challenge competition, a database of 3,500 projects was built and 620 successful cases were selected. An extraordinary documentation to understand how technologies, devoted to social inclusion, are changing the world.

Creative sessions of the GJC: Design thinking, Jam, Lego Serious Play, Hackathon. Teachers, students and school headmaster meet to draw together the school of the future. The moments of edutainment within the event are many and are addressed to different age groups.

Workshops and class visits: workshops activities for all ages make the Global Junior Challenge a public event open to the whole community; it is possible to book for activities and for educational visits sending an email of interest to info@gjc.it.
