Amb.Uino, the digital physics lab based on Arduino coordinated by Prof. Marco Calvani at the Liceo Renato Donatelli in Terni, will participate in the 8th edition of the Global Junior Challenge.
The project, developed in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Perugia and the Terni HackLab Association, aims to involve unmotivated students in physics through an attractive didactic method.
The students developed a digital physics lab based on the Arduino chipset. In particular, they assembled movement, temperature and pressure sensors to conduct experiments related to cinematics, thermology, dynamics and electro-dynamics as part of their curricular programme.
The students presented the project at two Maker Fairs (2015, 2016 in Terni) and organised courses for other students, teachers in other schools and interested citizens.
